How can I play using sah-online.ro ?

In order to start playing chess on our website you need to create an account.

Ok so that's done, what now?

After you have created an account, feel free to press the “Challenge” button next to the listed players in order to challenge them to a game. They will be notified by the web interface that there is a pending challenge and will be able to either accept or deny it.

Is it possible for me to be notifed of any challenges via e-mail ?

Yes, by editting your profile accordingly, you can choose to be notified of any changes to the status of your challenges, including accepted challenges, denied ones or even incoming challenges from other players.

The game board doesn't appear on my screen when I try to start a new game, what now ?

The game uses Microsoft's Silverlight technology, which means you'll need to install a plug-in – you can find a list of plug-ins available for various browsers here.

How many games can I play at once?

Every player can participate in 10 simultaneous games.

What happens if one of my opponents doesn't make a move for more than 48 hours?

If both players have made more than 5 moves and your opponent has not made a new move for more than 48 hours you may claim victory.
